Mark Hammerberg. MD
Orthopaedic Specialist Surgeon
Dr. Hammerberg is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, trained in total joint replacement at the Dorr Arthritis Institute in Los Angeles, California. His training includes minimally invasive surgery and the use of computer navigation for total joint replacement. His interests include hip and knee replacement surgery, including bilateral and revision procedures.
Dr. Hammerberg was born and raised in Denver. After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Minnesota. Following residency, Dr. Hammerberg completed a fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at the University of Washington, Haborview Medical Center. Prior to moving back to Colorado, Dr. Hammerberg was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery at Emory University, where he served as the chief of orthopaedic trauma service for Grady Memorial Hospital.
